This STEAM program invites children and youth ages 5–17 to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on learning. Each week features a different activity which incorporates elements of STEAM. Week 5: Scrap to Art Fabric waste is a huge contributor to today's landfills and we're going to show you some cool ways you can repurpose those old, unwanted fabrics into something new and beautiful! Create your own artwork using fabric scraps and help give them a new life. Week 6: Habitat Mixup! Animals have evolved and adapted to the changing world and climates. In this habitat mix-up we'll challenge you to create a new beak to survive in the wild new world - will your animal live through snowstorms, plant extinctions, and more? We'll put your inventions to the test in the interactive STEAM experiment.
